Welcome to the NEW EFFBTS website.  The new website is meant to improve both our communication and support of our members and supporters.  The EFFBTS has existed since 1977 and has proudly served burn survivors and thier families in many different ways.  Please take some time to look around the website.  The new 2012 firefighter calendar is now on sale, get one to day and all proceeds go to the EFFBTS.

Since 1977 we have raised over $9,000,000.  Go to the OUR WORK page to learn more about how the support we receive is used to help burn survivors.

Same great tournament with a great new name! We are currently conducting our sponsorship campaign for this event.  The 2012 MacTaggert’s Twisted Kilt Calender

Ladies, if you loved the Firefighter's "Turn up the Heat" Calendar that you got for Christmas and want to repay the gift. Well, it’s finally here – the 2012 MacTaggert’s Twisted Kilt Calender featuring the Women of the Twisted Kilt. Calenders are available in the pub for $10 with proceeds going to the Edmonton Fire Fighters Burn Treatment Society. Unlike other pubs that treat their calender as a way to make money – they view it as a way to give back to the community. So why not treat the man in your life to a great calendar that supports Burn.

The 2012 "Turn Up The Heat" Calendar was a great success. Once again Edmonton's Bravest, doffed their shirts in support of Burn Treatment. This year we saw an increase in calendar sales and raised $60,000. This bring the 4 year total to over $300,000. A very special thanks to the Calendar Guys and our new photograph Don. Without the work of these great men our calendar would not have been one of the most sought after firefighter calendars. We still have a few calendars let, order yours today. Buy Online.

ATCO Electric chooses Burn Treatment  as the featured charity   during their annual EPIC, Employees Participating  in Communities, Campaign. The relationship between emergency responders  and ATCO, combined with the fact that several of ATCO's employees are volunteer firefighters, makes The Firefighter's Burn Treatment Society a natural fit for the 2011 EPIC Campaign. The Recent wildfires in Slave Lake along with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 taking place last September were also contributing factors. This Campaign ran the last two week of September and featured some exciting and interesting events: a Chili cook off, an ATCO twist on The Firefighter Combat Challenge and even a "dunk your boss" dunk tank. With these events combined with employee driven donations, Burn Treatment received a donation in excess of $56000.

Burn Treatment was not the only organization to benefit from this campaign. Close to 500 other Alberta organizations share in this truly spectacular program that raised a total of $650000.

Burn Treatment is truly honoured, humbled and amazed by the sense of community and giving shown by ATCO's employees.
